1. What's stored locally

Your expenses, income, budgets, goals, trades, alarms, tasks, habits, notes, shopping lists, reminders, sleep logs and important dates are stored only in a local, per-account database on your device — they are never uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly turn on Google Drive backup.

2. What's stored with our backend

Your account identity (from Google Sign-In), display name, app preferences, and — if you set up Family — your family's shared goals, tasks, shopping list and shared bills are stored in the GENZO database so every family member sees the same live data.

3. Third-party services

GENZO uses Google Sign-In for authentication, the GENZO database for account and family data, and — only if you connect them — Google Calendar (to show your events) and Google Drive (to back up your local database). SMS auto-detect reads transaction SMS on-device only; message content is never sent off your device.

4. Your controls

You can review and delete Google Drive backups, disconnect Google Calendar, turn off SMS auto-detect, export all your local data as a file, or permanently delete your account and all local data — all from Settings.

5. Data retention

Local data stays on your device until you delete it or delete your account. GENZO database data (account and family sharing) is deleted when you delete your account.
